Welcome to TZV Gredelj ltd. in bankruptcy

Despite the fact that Gredelj Rolling Stock Factory went bankrupt as of October 1, 2012, it definitely continued its business running, only under new conditions.

The objective of the company in bankruptcy is to stay in the black for the purpose of maintaining its activities and thus to achieve a good basis for defining the legal status and treatment of creditors. A new organization of business operations has been set up based on rationalization and cost reduction, while activities have been systematized on the basis of three production units whose products and services are required by the market. It is primarily important for Gredelj to become a healthy subject cleared of unnecessary expenses and, as such, to appear in the rolling stock market in the future. The factory currently employs 970 workers, out of which there are 820 production workers. The remaining 150 workers are dealing with production support activities.

With 118 years of tradition, knowledge, experience, professional approach and cutting-edge technology, TZV Gredelj seeks to become a regional leader in the design, manufacture and maintenance of all types of rolling stock. My goal, therefore, is to achieve full employment of Gredeljs production capacities, with works in the production halls being carried out with renewed vigor and optimism in a healthy and modern environment. Thanks to its new and entirely modernized facilities equipped with the latest sophisticated technology, Gredelj is certainly a socially responsible company, taking daily care of both environment protection and its employees.

Even in bankruptcy, TZV Gredelj is a serious market player and a regional one, I would say, and I truly hope that serious investors would be able to recognise this and would wish to have such Gredelj.
